Wow. I submit pics over the span of a few days that I spend from 2 to 3 hours or so of work on and I get maybe one or two comments on them. Then I submit some random chibi that took me 5 minutes, and I get a bunch.

Srsly ppl, wtf?

Anywho, as you might have noticed, I've been more active art-wise on here, proably the most I've been in a few years. That would be because of a new mindset I've gotten myself into, to stop stressing about everything that's wrong with my art and just be patient enough to have fun and learn while I do so.

So, I'm reaching out more,and there were a few things that have led up to it. First, was an assignment in english which gave me the option of doing a comic for a Lord of the Flies, which we read in class, I eagerly took it up. Spent two whole days finishing it, staying up 'til about 3, it was hell but I've never had so much fun with my HW. XD And I learned a lot. I think it was like...11 pages of manga, not very good, but far better than my previous try last year.
Thanks to my friends, mainly at school who supported me through that, btw.I'm sorry I was so against about showing you guys for a while, I've really gotta learn how to be more secure and stop expecting the worst reactions. XD'

Soooooo, here is what I'm working on currently. My friend told me about the OCT located here Where you enter a dimension as your persona and compete with other artists with three of your OC's at your side, and for some reason the idea really appealed to me. So I'm entering, which some of you might have heard, I'm currently working on refs and practicing drawing characters, I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this! It'll be great practice with drawing comics~



Anywho, another update: school is out in about...3 weeks? So, I'm definitely gonna be busy getting ready for the OCT, struggling to keep grades up, and here soon I'll have to start studying for finals. Oh the joy of it! : P
